The Swiss Foundation
of the Order of the Knights of Rondmons

Principle of Concord

  • The choice and decision to acquire a title is specific to the individual person. He is not asked to provide any reason, whether it realising a dream, giving pleasure by using a title, or contributing to the conclusion of a project.
  • In addition, Knights are free from any commitment, which means that acquiring a title does not imply any action or participation in the Foundation. However, using the title respectfully and in accordance with the spirit of honour and dignity that underpin the Foundation is welcomed.
  • The Foundation is open to discussion, improvement and the moving forward of the projects. It is in this sense that Knights are asked to adopt this principle of concord that allows comments and constructive ideas, in accordance with the spirit of chivalry.
  • By means of its statutes, the Foundation guarantees the continuity of the Order and its titles, to plough a furrow through History and the motto of chivalry “Nil Obstat” is the device of the Knights of Rondmons. It means “nothing will prevent us”.
