The Foundation’s heritage projects
These involve restoring and preserving ancient buildings that have fallen into ruin through lack of resources and that form part of a shared memory and heritage.
- The Tour de Billens in Romont, a Fourteenth Century monument. The Foundation’s showcase and the place where the Knights of Rondmons are received. A work in progress.
- The Château de Béduer in the Quercy, France. A privileged holiday residence for the Knights of Rondmons and their family.
- The Château du Châtelard above Montreux with its splendid panorama over Lake Geneva. Cooperation for receptions and awarding titles to the Knights..
- The Château d'Illens, between Bulle and Fribourg in Switzerland. Renovation and development of the site. The Court of honour is constituted around this project. Work in progress.
- The Château de Mézières in the Fribourg region. Membership of the association that is setting the Swiss Tapestry Museum on its feet.
- The Château d’Ogoz, an island on the Lac de la Gruyère. Membership of the association that is developing this exceptional site.
