Documents issued with the title
When a person subscribes to a title, according to the procedure below, he or she will receive a series of documents from the Foundation to authenticate his/her title:
In the case of payment by instalments, he/she will initially receive a Letter of Recognition which proves that the title is reserved, until the balance of the Seal Duty is paid.
When the Seal Duty is fully paid, the person will receive a file containing all the official documents relating to their titles and its protected status:
1. A personal letter of investiture
2. The Letter of Knighthood
Official document relating to the ownership of the title and the coat-of-arms
3. Notarial attestation
Official document relating to the protection of the title and coat-of-arms
4. The Testament of the Knight de Rondmons
Document relating to the Foundation of the Order
5. The Protocol
Document relating to Knights’ rights
